Longsha Park is the majour tourist spots in Qiqihar, Heilongjiang Province.
Longsha Park, the biggest comprehensive park in northeast China, was first named Xihuayuan (Western Garden) built in 1897, present name in 1916.

Taking up an area of sixty-four hectares, Longsha Park features the misty Laodong Lake with a water surface of twenty hectares.

This photo is Pavilion Viewing the nenjiang River. It was built by Zhoumo the governor of Longjian in 1907 (23th year of Guangxuin Qing Dynasty). In August 1964, Zhu De chairman of the standing Committee of the Chinese people’s Congress inscribed the board. It has been the city-protected historic relic since 1980.
New additions to the park are the children’s playground, sunken flower-beds, large power-driven airplanes and spacecraft.
Known to the park is also a zoo with bears and rabbits from the Greater Hinggan Mountains, snow rabbits, northeast tigers, elks and reindeer, in addition to many common species of birds and beasts.
Still well kept in the park are the two pink pelicans presented by Romania thirty years ago.
Although Longsha Park is located in the northern border area with a low temperature, it has cultivated over 10,000 potted flowers in 200 varieties.
With an undulating topography, mountains and waters and verdant trees, Longsha Park is indeed an ideal summer resort.
The Longsha Ice-Carving Exhibition which has been held for 13 times in succession has attracted many Chinese and foreign visitors.
Longsha Park is on Gongyuan Road, downtown in Qigihar.
Take trolley bus No.2 from the railway station to Gongyuan Road stop if you want to go to the park.
Bus No.11 also bypasses the park and those who want to visit the park are advised to take the bus to No.2 Municipal Government Compound stop.
